Heather Suggitt, mother of the bride, is also honored to serve as Skylar's maid of honor. Heather, who lives in Kingwood, Texas, attends with her partner, David.

Jonathan Guy is Griffin’s father and honored to serve as Best Man. He will be attending the celebration with his wife, Katie, and their two children Brynlee and Owen.

Alyssa and Skylar became fast friends on the University of Montevallo track team, bonding over early morning practices, shared meets, and a mutual love of competition. After graduating, Alyssa moved to Winnipeg, Canada, but she remains one of Skylar’s closest supporters and a constant presence in her life despite the miles between them.

Larz and Griffin met in elementary school after Griffin gave himself a mohawk with glue. Larz is an exercise science graduate student and a soldier in the Army National Guard.

As fellow pole vaulters, Leah and Skylar became fast friends on the University of Montevallo track team. Leah graduated in 2026 and remains in Alabama, cheering Skylar on through every meet—and now standing beside her on the wedding day.

Isaac and Griffin met in paramedic school at Regional Training Institution and became close friends during the program. Isaac is a firefighter/paramedic with the Pelham Fire Department. He and Griffin enjoy exercising, seeing live music, playing pickleball, having a beer, playing pool, and talking about future trips—even if they don’t always take them.

Kylie and Skylar met on the University of Montevallo track team and bonded over early morning practices and road trips to meets. Kylie has since graduated and now lives in Oregon, but she’s been a constant supporter of Skylar’s goals and adventures.

Brodie Jones met Griffin on their first day working together at Helena and quickly became one of his closest friends at the department. As they rode back from calls, Brodie often heard Griffin talk about Skylar and admired Griffin’s loyalty, integrity, and commitment. Brodie is excited to celebrate their marriage and wishes Skylar and Griffin all the best.

Emily is Skylar's sister and now a sophomore in high school. She is a member of the National Honor Society and on the school volleyball team. Emily wants to be a Physical Therapist when she grows up.

Griffin and Kyle met while Griffin was working and living in Jacksonville, they immediately became good friends and bonded over working out. Kyle eventually became a roommate to Griffin. Kyle found great opportunities in Ohio where he started his own business and currently lives.

Dominique attended the University of Alabama and works in legal marketing. She enjoys spending time with her husband, their four dogs, and two cats. When she’s not working, Dominique is usually traveling, at a concert, or hanging out with friends. She and Skylar bonded quickly over a shared love of vodka pickle shots.

Brynlee, Griffin’s younger sister, will be our flower girl. She is 11 years old and lives in Jacksonville. Brynlee loves playing the piano and expressing her creativity through art.

Tanner, Skylar’s younger brother, will serve as our ring bearer. He is 12 years old and lives in Houston, Texas. Tanner enjoys playing basketball, golfing, and even keeping things tidy. When he grows up, he hopes to become a pilot.
